Namory Keita 

Kolafölö (pronounced "cola foe-lo") is Namory's first CD - this is "the beginning of everything," which happens to be exactly what Kolafölö means in Malinke.  The CD was recorded outdoors in Guinea, and has had minimal sound work, so the music is as you would hear it in its natural setting. Some of Namory's dearest friends - all great musicians - joined him on this CD, and he has three of the loveliest singers in all of Guinea accompanying with vocals. If you want the real feel of traditional, village-style drumming and singing from the Hamana region of Guinea, this CD is a must have!
