Info

Namory has a team of woodworkers and drum-makers in Guinea hand crafting djembes and dununs for drummers all over the world. He has regular customers in Germany, Australia, Poland, France, England, and America. Namory inspects each drum before it leaves Guinea to ensure that it meets his high standards. If you have special requests for a particular drum, let us know - we'd be happy to do what it takes to make your perfect drum!
All djembes are made of lenke wood and are decoratively hand-carved by Lai Konate. If you have a special request for size or specific carvings, please let us know and we'd be happy to accommodate you.
Every djembefola needs a solid dunun section! Namory can make your dununba, sangban, and kenkeni - with or without carvings, as you wish. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know. Otherwise, we'd be happy to make your dununs in the traditional Hamana style.
To complete your dunun section, we're happy to offer a selection of traditional Sangbarala cloches (bells) and hand-made batons (drumsticks). We also offer karinyans - the bells traditionally played by griot women.Namory Keita
