Namory's Ongoing Classes

Namory is offering a number of Djembe and Dunun Workshops and is available for Private Classes throughout New England. He can also put a new head on your djembe with the goat or cow skins he brought from Guinea.  Throughout New England, he can be found drumming with members of his performance group - Djoliba Kan - see www.djolibakan.com for performance dates.

Djembe and Dunun Workshops

Namory is a skilled and experienced teacher of traditional Malinke rhythms of Guinea.  He has hosted workshops in his home village of Sangbarala and has taught classes throughout Guinea, as well as in Germany, France, Portugal, and Poland.  Namory is now a permanent resident of the US and is available for workshops and private classes.

Drum Heading

Got a djembe that needs a new skin?  Namory is skilled at re-heading djembes, and has skins from Guinea ready for your drum.  Fill out the form below if you're interested in having Namory put a new skin on your djembe, and then listen to your djembe sing!
